BioThis is my writing journal/blog on the progress of my novel writing. My main series is entitled The Masters of Life or MOL.

The Masters of Life is mainly about the life adventures and life lessons of a young woman who is learning how to become first a Warrior in life prgressing towards the Mastery of Life. She has to resolve conflicts in her own self regarding the difference between a military warrior and a spiritual warrior, and then later in her life the conflict between being a warrior who fights and kills and the healer within. Another conflict is the fight between the light and dark sides of the soul. The novels follow her life from that of a child into adulthood, as it also conveys the lives of her family around her.
She is unlike anyone else known in the universe, a mix-breed of two star systems where she is in both a celebrity of sorts - one from a military family, the other from a noble family where she is heir to the throne of the empire. And yet, beneath both these pressures of family tradition, she is above all devoted to her spiritual order of Light, which ascends all the politics of family, nobility, and military.
The first novels are set in the middle of a war that is going on between the races of her home worlds and that of an alien race who create life through genetics. This alien race considers themselves the master of life, for they believe themselves to be the ones who create all life in the universe. The war is between the aliens seeking to get control of an experiment gone astray, and the races of the warriors who fight to maintain independance.
The first novel was completed in 1995, and is still undergoing editing. The entire series is written out in my head and has been continously created since I was a child. Much of it is contained in handwritten notes, which I have been compiling into novels seriously since 1992. I am now currently working on the second novel of the series.
I also have several other novels I am working on that have completely different plots I am also working to complete.
Kelle's Cure takes place in a world made up mainly of magic using elves of various races. Kelle is an Astralen Elf, which means he was never born and will never die until his life mission is completed. As a youth, he was involved in the Underground - and illegal yet organized society of adventurers and magical duelists who gather artifacts to create wealth. Under a cloud of suspicion, he left the Underground and became a respected instructor of magic at the University. Now there is a plague that is killing all magic users. The more powerful the magician, the faster they die. Kelle has the disease, and with his closest apprentices and human best friend, they seek to find the source and the cure to the disease, which will bring Kelle back to face all the crimes of his past. And he begins to doubt for the first time his immortality, as his body contiously declines from the disease. I am halfway finished with it.
Timothy (I always name the titles at first by the main character's name) is a fantasy novel with a Victorain flair to it. Timothy was a student of medicine, who had to leave the university when the plague hit, so he never finished. In his spare time, he would research at the library. In his research, he came across information that was forbidden, and suddenly finds his life in danger. His mother and sister are killed because of it, and he and his friends seek to find a way to escape the danger. Timothy then becomes face to face with a family history he was not aware of, complete with a rival family who are determined to control Timothy as their secret weapon. This is also halfway completed.
My goal is to write four hours a day to start with, working towards full-time to complete the novels towards publication. I enjoy the blogs of my favorite authors, and I am an avid journal writer.
